Anastasia and Christopher made sure our whole trip went well, offering suggestions on where to go and comfort about why we were there, to celebrate the life of my 18-year-old nephew who passed this year. Their hospitality was far beyond what we expected from owners. They also had a market selling great meat and jarred goods. The Aspen House had beautiful, detailed woodwork inside that gave it the feel of a rustic cabin in the woods, and it slept 10 comfortably. Some of our group camped in a tent, others stayed in the Aspen House or individual rooms, and everyone was happy. We all agreed we'll visit again. 10 out of 10, would recommend!

Christopher knows the area well and pointed us to a wonderful waterfall spot for the afternoon. We never would have found that perfectly majestic place by ourselves, and we're already planning another visit. Anastasia and Christopher were amazing hosts at this really unique property. We stayed in two rooms and the Aspen House, and loved the woodwork and the place's feel-good energy. The river sounds were so relaxing. My family will definitely be back.

Our Hipcamp booking in the area left us hanging, so we needed somewhere to stay. We called these folks, and they came back from their house, gave us a room, and fed us too. Such kind people. The spot itself is lovely, and we liked it enough to stay a second night. I'd make a point of coming through the area again just to stay here.

We had three beautiful days at the Kenosha Lodge, and our family will definitely return. The big lodge and lovely scenery were both a pleasure, and meeting Mr Christopher, the owner, felt like making a new family connection. Evenings around the fire pit with campfires were a definite highlight for us.

Such a hidden gem. I stayed in the Treehouse Room, which had been completely remodeled inside. I was told the work used locally sourced, hand-crafted wood. The room was really clean, service was excellent, and the riverside location was great, quiet and peaceful.
