Under new ownership since NOV 1, 2025, with a bunch of upgrades underway. They’re adding fast WIFI, 50" Roku TVs, Keurig coffee machines in every room, fresh linens and blankets, paint, carpets, and deep cleaning. The laundromat is already open 24/7, and the car wash is supposed to reopen soon.

We came back to the area to see family, making this our second stay here in just under a year. Both visits to the Grantsburg Inn have gone well. The rooms were clean, the beds really comfortable, and the limited amenities were enough for us. We’ll stay here again next time we’re in the area. No place gets a perfect score, though.

It was quiet and had what I needed, though there wasn’t a coffee maker in the room. There was a mini fridge, microwave, and USB charging. Nothing fancy.

The manager pointed out places to eat and shop, along with things to see nearby. My stay got extended, so they moved me to a larger room, more like a one-bedroom apartment without the kitchen. I was surprised they also have a few extra-large rooms with four queen beds. Service was great and accommodating from the start. I arrived late from another city and got a courtesy call to check on me. The room was clean, comfortable, and very affordable. I’ve stayed at other hotels in the area that cost a lot more and weren’t nearly as nice. Great stay, and I’ll be back next week for an extended stay.
