Residence Inn by Marriott Denver North-Westminster

Restaurants are within walking distance, and check-in was a breeze. Our room is really nice, with a great kitchen. My one gripe is that the bathroom sink light turns on with no door to block it, so it could wake the other person trying to sleep.

The employees really stood out. They were kind and friendly, with great customer service. A huge thank you to the team working Dec. 19th and 20th. We booked at the last minute to stay warm during the planned power outage, and we appreciated your kindness more than you know. The rooms and facilities were clean, with no complaints and what I'd expect for this hotel class.

I really liked the closet, and the bathroom was clean. The room itself was spacious, with a big living room and an eat-in kitchen stocked with dishes, pots and pans, utensils, and everything I needed. It was nice and clean.

Chris, the front desk manager, was kind and helpful, and the location worked well for us. The condition of the room, though, was disappointing. It felt dirty and worn, the shower leaked, and there was a crack in the bathroom door that looked like it had been kicked. The carpet was sticky and discolored, and even after cleaning, the tile still felt sticky. I also saw dirt and dust in the vents, on the ceilings, and in the corners, and the drapery was discolored. As someone who usually stays with Marriott, this wasn't what I've come to expect from the brand. The help at the desk kept me from rating it even lower, but Marriott needs to do better with this property.
