Courtyard Dallas DFW Airport North/Grapevine

We stayed overnight this weekend, my wife and me, and had a great time. The king room was roomy and a good value for such a nice place. Everything was very clean, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was free, with plenty of choices and everything well stocked. We'll be back.

We had a different breakfast item each day, and the selection at the breakfast bar was amazing. The pool was nice, and we made good use of the laundry room. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were super helpful and friendly. Can't say enough good about staying here.

The hotel could be a lot better without much effort. Though it was clean and well organized, with plenty of parking, and the staff were friendly when we saw them, this stay left a bad taste. It might work if you're near the airport or visiting that area, but after this experience I can't recommend it and can see why I lean toward other hotel brands when I'm out of town. A few things went wrong. My room's closet was broken and had been cheaply patched with some kind of tape. It would swing open noisily, and I bumped into the door in the middle of the night on the way to the restroom. Our rooms also weren't refreshed during the stay, so we had to ask the front desk for towels. I hung the towels as the signs requested, but the signs say service is every four days, and for a longer stay they should have been refreshed. Breakfast is set up in the middle of the lobby. When I said I just wanted coffee, I was told that if I wanted coffee there was a restaurant for me in the hotel. I went where I was directed, waited a long time, and nobody came to help. I left. The evening events, including Karaoke and BBQ night, were great. This is a good option for business travelers, close to the airport, with modern facilities, clean, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff. My one suggestion would be to leave complimentary bottles of water in the room.
