SpringHill Suites by Marriott Dallas DFW Airport N/Grapevine

I only stayed one night, but wished I could have stayed longer. The location is hard to beat, next to Grapevine Mills, lots of food options, and DFW Airport. We got a friendly welcome at check-in, and there’s complimentary coffee and water in the lobby. Our room was spacious and spotless. The TV was the standout, placed between the bedroom and living room so you could watch from either area, and HBO Max was included for free. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had everything I needed except a toothbrush, in case that matters to you. Breakfast had a good selection, though I would have liked a waffle maker. Room quality, location, price, and friendly staff all made this one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. I’ll use it as my benchmark when comparing other hotels.

The pool and hot tub were murky and green, so I wouldn’t get in. That was disappointing, especially since the rest of the facilities were incredibly clean. The employees were darling, the location was great, and breakfast was a little better than a standard continental one. I guess there’s always a hot bath in the room instead. I managed to connect my Chromecast to the TV, but my subscriptions wouldn’t work, even after I joined the hotel WiFi. It kept giving errors. This is one of the more frustrating things about hotels, when you can’t use your own entertainment services. I even bought a special HDMI to USB-A adapter so the TV could power it and I wouldn’t have extra-long cords dangling around. You may need to bring your own travel router to get your devices working. We visited Meow Wolf across the street at the mall. It was SO COOL. There’s also an Aquarium, though I couldn’t get tickets because the system crashed, plus LegoLand, mild trapeze jumping, a Bubble exhibit whose name I forgot, and lots of fun shops to explore. The mall has a Rainforest Cafe, too. The food is edible but not great, while the atmosphere is really cool. People in Grapevine were courteous drivers, and the roads were wide and clear. I loved our stay.

The front desk, kitchen, and cleaning teams all gave such great service, and the hotel was very clean. Tazmine at the front desk was wonderful, so friendly and accommodating. They made my daughter's birthday weekend memorable. Thank you, Marriott! I’ll be back for my birthday in December 2025.

The front desk made check-in and checkout easy, and we had a great family stay right next to the mall. We tried both the pool and breakfast, and enjoyed them so much.
