Hampton Inn Boston/Braintree

For the first two mornings, I really enjoyed breakfast. On day three, a group of hockey kids made a huge mess of the breakfast bar, with syrup and waffle batter getting walked around. The employee responsible for it didn’t clean up, sitting in the side room watching videos on her phone. The shower setup also needs attention. The curtain droops and doesn’t stay against the walls well, and the tub valves haven’t been maintained, so the shower drips.

Breakfast was a highlight, with fresh choices, a buffet that stayed stocked, and staff keeping things tidy. The team seemed to take pride in making the stay easy for guests. Check-in was smooth and pleasant, and the front desk greeted me with a smile and made me feel welcome. They even offered cookies, which were so good. The lobby was clean and inviting. My room was spotless and had everything I needed, with fresh linens and a quiet atmosphere that made it easy to unwind after a long day. The decor was a little dated, though it looks like they’re working on updates. Hampton Inn gave me comfort, efficiency, and genuine hospitality. With the room updates underway, I expect future stays to be even better.

We keep coming back to Hampton Inn - Boston Braintree, MA when visiting the attractions nearby. It’s tucked into a quiet corner, so it’s easy to get some rest after a busy day, and the price is reasonable. The hotel is clean and the staff are great. On our latest visit, Saturday 12/6/2025, the woman who checked us in that afternoon was especially helpful, friendly, and considerate. We had four separate room reservations, and she figured out we were together and arranged nearby rooms before we even asked. I forgot to get her name, but she deserves credit for excellent service.

The staff were helpful and really friendly. There’s an excellent local brewery with food right across the street, and the hotel shuttle can take you anywhere within a four mile radius, including the train station for Boston.
