No breakfast, and the place was dirty. They even accused us of taking some of their nasty sheets home. It also looked like the owners were living in the lobby or offices.

They were very helpful when I got sick and needed to change my reservation to stay another night, and they were happy to accommodate our dog. The room itself was clean and updated. I gave it four stars because the hotel smelled of smoke.

The hallway reeked of cigarette smoke and mildew, and the room was filthy. There was a drink that had burst inside the refrigerator and hadn’t been cleaned up, hair all over the carpet and tucked into the sheets, plus a spot of blood on the bedding. This place needs reporting for all the health violations. Drive about 20 minutes down the road to Macon and find somewhere better.

Grass covered the carpet, there was hair behind the bathroom and in the sheets, and mildew was growing on the wall. I noticed all this while unpacking, and the room didn’t feel safe for my kids. When I asked the front desk to contact a manager, she said he wasn’t there and promised to call me back. Two minutes later she knocked on my door. I explained the problems, but she said they’d just mowed the lawn and that she doesn’t clean rooms. About 25 minutes later I called again to ask if she could reach the manager. She again said she’d call me back, then appeared in the doorway two minutes later and said he couldn’t come because he was playing volleyball. I asked her to come see what a pig of a hotel they run. She said he thought he was the best, then told me she’d give me my money back and I had to leave the property right away. I’ve never seen anything like this. DISGUSTING.
