The rooms were private, quiet, and comfortable, which was a lovely surprise for a bed and breakfast. The food was fantastic from start to finish, and I can't think of a single dish we ordered that I wouldn't happily eat again. From arrival, we were welcomed by kind employees and enjoyed great food and drink. The owners are incredibly kind, and it seems they hire people with the same spirit. We were lucky to spend a family weekend at the Oxford Inn and Pope's Tavern. If you want to make memories, eat well, and explore quaint towns, this is a great place. We can't wait to return and have already recommended it to many people.

The front porch was a wonderful spot for a cocktail and cigar after dinner. We had a relaxing long weekend after a very pleasant three night stay at the Oxford Inn. Jeanne and Scott were warm and accommodating, and Jessica kept our room well maintained and was helpful too. We also had a delicious dinner of home made pasta at Pope's Tavern at the Inn. We'd highly recommend considering a visit.

We had the Chef's Choice for breakfast each time and weren't disappointed. The full breakfast on the weekend was fantastic, and we also liked the in-room Keurig and the beautiful, distinctive furniture. Our room, the Waverly, was cozy and uniquely decorated, with a private bathroom. We appreciated not having a television in the room, since we usually don't watch TV on these trips and liked having the extra surface space. The husband and wife owners welcome guests and handle check-ins. They were flexible when we missed check-in, which ends when dinner service starts because they also run the adjoining restaurant. Jeanne checked us in and walked us to the room without making us feel we'd missed check-in at all. If you're lucky enough to visit Oxford Maryland and need a place to stay, look no further than Oxford Inn. We plan to return, and hope we have time for dinner at Pope's Tavern too.

The quiet, relaxing atmosphere was off the charts, and the food was a real WOW. My spouse has been to Italy and raved about it. We went to popes tavern a few weekends ago. We arrived a little early for our reservation, but they didn't mind and seated us with drinks. Everyone seemed like family and was so nice and polite. Our waiter, the owners' son, was great. If you enjoy beverages, try the lemon cello for dessert. I had a great time, will be back, and am bringing friends. Thanks to everyone at popes tavern, job well done!

Breakfast was 10/10, worth the stay on its own. My husband and I had a lovely weekend at the Oxford Inn in May 2021. The room was cozy and charming, with beautiful antique furniture. The modern touches were great too, including fast wifi and good water pressure. We definitely recommend it.
