Days Inn by Wyndham Great Bend

The hallway got noisy during the day, and the bed was too hard for me. Everything else was great.

We were here for a baseball tournament, with several teams staying at the hotel. They advertise breakfast, but the first team ate it all, and staff wouldn't bring out more for the other guests. Reservations had been made well in advance, so this was poor planning. They shouldn't advertise breakfast if they can't provide enough for everyone.

My wife, business partner, and I just wanted to unwind after working all day, but we were denied service for no reason and treated rudely by the staff. The owner was hostile and belligerent. I was shocked, especially since we had been accommodating and respectful. This was by far my worst experience at a Days Inn. The staff need a reality check on basic customer service. There's serious room for change here. We're disappointed, and I'll be filing a complaint with Wyndham corporate on Monday. Don't do business at this location.

I booked this room for work, but the condition put me off unpacking. There was rice scattered all over the floor, a few french fries, an empty pill punch-out, and a fortune cookie fortune, so it clearly hadn't been vacuumed. I asked the front desk for a vacuum, and she came and did it herself, which deserves a point, but she missed the corners and some rice remained. Looking around more afterward, I found the bathroom floors disgusting, a streak in the shower that looked like blood, and hair on the towels. One towel looked as if someone had used it to dye their hair. I can't be sure, but the chair looked like it had semen stains. I immediately booked another hotel. I wasn't allowed to check out of the Days Inn because the room was booked, so I left the keys and moved on.
