There were bed bugs. I woke up in the middle of the night and saw multiple ones. The pool, which was the whole reason we stayed, was closed. We changed rooms, and staff said the manager would contact us in the morning. I called many times, and they took down my number each time, but we never heard back. It’s been 2 months, with no apology or refund for the night. Don’t stay here unless you want terrible service and a headache. I can’t believe it.

My son is autistic, and his service animal is trained to prevent him from eloping, or running off. The dog is essential to his safety, but staff questioned the animal from the start and said she would have to stay in the car. That violates ADA laws. The next day, at 11 a.m., we got a noise complaint as we were leaving to go swimming. Staff said my children had been running in the hallway. My son does sometimes elope. He briefly ran down the hall, his service dog followed him, and his older sisters immediately brought them both back to the room. We handled it responsibly, but staff treated us like a problem instead of a family managing a disability. I was asked to change rooms and put on the ground floor. As we arrived, a maintenance worker was leaving with three cans of Raid insect spray. Soon after we entered, my baby started sneezing uncontrollably. Cockroaches were visible on the floor, and the room smelled strongly of backed-up sewer. I immediately asked for another room because of the health and safety concerns. While my children were swimming, they suffered chemical burns from the pool. I asked to see the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for the pool chemicals, which seemed like a reasonable, standard request. Management refused and kicked us out of the hotel. This stay was deeply upsetting and unacceptable. We faced discrimination, unsafe conditions, and hostility instead of professionalism. It was traumatic for my children and completely avoidable. Families with disabilities deserve respect, safety, and legal compliance. I strongly urge management and corporate to review what happened. I would never recommend this hotel.

The hotel stayed quiet and relaxing throughout my stay, and the on-site amenities were convenient. I had a spacious, well-equipped room with incredibly comfortable beds, so I slept well. Breakfast had lots of variety and was good quality. I enjoyed my visit and look forward to coming back.

The location is great, right by one highway and not far from another, though the roads are horrible, and I’m from New Orleans. The room was nice, but after staying a few nights it became clear the service wasn’t great. I saw someone handling towels and asked them to do my room while I was out. When I got back, nothing had been done, so I had to go down to the front desk. There’s no exhaust fan in the bathroom, so after a shower you’re left standing in a steamy room. The TV was irritating too. There’s no guide or paper channel list. You have to flip through and remember what’s on, or wait for a guide channel that appears every few stations, but even that doesn’t show all the channels.
