The Gibson Hotel Great Falls, an Ascend Collection Hotel

I’m a bit of a germaphobe, and the room was spotless in every corner and on every counter, cleaner than any hotel I’ve stayed at. My king suite was quiet and comfortable, and you can tell they’ve put care into the upgraded renovations. The staff were friendly and capable. Having breakfast brought to my room and warm cookies available whenever I wanted were perks I really appreciated. It’s got that mix of high-end and homey, and I’d go out of my way to stay here again.

The service is what really makes this hotel stand out. The offer of freshly baked cookies was a lovely touch, and the excellent homemade breakfast came right to my room. The manager welcomed us and was clearly proud of the place. Our renovated room had tasteful decor, lovely amenities, and an extremely comfortable mattress; the lobby and lounges felt stylish and welcoming too. It’s a great stop before heading to Glacier National Park, with easy access to unique shops like Hoglund’s & Dragonfly Goods and Creations & Curiosities. The hotel is also close to the C.M. Russell Museum and the bridge to Black Eagle.

Such a cute boutique hotel, with the nicest, most accommodating staff. The rooms are gorgeous and super quiet, great for picky travelers. I loved the free breakfast, cookies delivered to the room, and free guest laundry with scent-free detergent. Can’t wait to come back!

I was especially impressed by the late-night clerk, Claire. She was polite, really helpful, and a pleasure to talk with. I was surprised to hear this was her first job. The hotel’s service and amenities were helpful and classy, and I hope it stays this way so I can keep coming back. What a wonderful experience!
