Latitude 29 #2

My family has been coming to Latitude for a long time. I don’t win many arguments with my wife, but I did win the one about where to vacation. I refuse to go anywhere else.

The view was great, and the inside was very clean. The shower was broken, but Vacasa fixed it. We also found the cooking utensils quite dirty and had to wash most of them again. The other parts of the stay were good, which is why I’m giving it four stars.

Just got back! We’ve been coming for over 20 years, always meeting up the same week with the people we got to know here. Some rooms have been updated, and they look phenomenal. The buildings have been painted too, and they look so good. A special thank you to Tess for going above and beyond to get things done around here. It’s so good to be back. This place means a lot to us!

I’ve stayed at this condo complex for over 30 years. It used to be the Gulf’s best-kept secret, until the onsite management team was let go and Vacasa took over. Back when the managers lived onsite and worked directly for Latitude, the grounds stayed clean and in good working order. Since that management went away, the quality of the stay has dropped a lot. This year the hot tub wasn’t hot, and permanent residents told me it had been that way for at least two months. I’m very disappointed in the Latitude 29 Owner’ Association for letting the stay quality decline, and I’ll probably look elsewhere in the future.
