Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Green Bay, WI

We had a pet-friendly room, and those usually aren’t as clean as other rooms, but the bed wasn’t very comfortable and the room could have been cleaner. One curtain was pulled back and had come down, as if someone had been smoking by the window. The Head of Housekeeping fixed it within 10 minutes of being told, which was impressive.

The location was handy for Lambeau and the Casino, and breakfast was edible. But our room smelled awful when we walked in. I couldn’t tell whether it was from previous guests or because the heat and air unit wasn’t running. The room felt outdated, the bed was very uncomfortable, and my socks got filthy from the floor. For $350, I expected a much more enjoyable stay. We were there the night before the Packer Game.

For one night in Green Bay, I just needed somewhere to sleep and didn’t expect much since it cost quite a bit less than my usual place. I was pleasantly surprised: the room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was great. This could become my new place to stay when I visit.

I left a day early because I couldn’t stomach another night here. I was in town for a work conference, but first room had hair all over the bed, a disgusting floor, and a desk that looked ready to fall apart. The replacement room had hair too. After settling in, I found there was no WiFi; the front desk said it was down, and nobody had told me before I paid. I had to call my company’s CEO to explain that I couldn’t attend anything without internet. The manager gave me a WiFi password the next morning, but I’d already called in, so the stay was a waste of money and I missed work. The beds were disgusting, the pool and hot tub filthy, and the shower barely worked. Staff were very unprofessional. I’ve never stayed in a hotel this bad, and it’s totally unacceptable to run a place like this.
