Scott and his team made the stay easy from the start. Scott was in touch before we arrived and kept being accommodating during our bikepacking trip around Flaming Gorge. We booked another night at the end, and The Little Bear was really flexible, even without a lot of detail from us. The room was spacious and clean, with new beds that I think were Nectar mattresses, and very comfortable. On the northwest side there are BBQ grills and patio tables and chairs if you want to cook outside. It's close to everything, but far enough from freeway noise for a peaceful night's sleep. Scott clearly takes hosting seriously, and he and the team run a clean, comfortable, accommodating place. To paraphrase the Most Interesting Man in the World, “I don’t always come to Green River, but when I do, I start at The Little Bear Motel.” You should, too!

The view around here is really pretty, and the A/C unit was excellent. I paid about $120 for a spacious room with two queen beds, which was a great price. The bathroom had a nice mirror and strong water pressure, and the room was carefully cleaned and set up, with thoughtful little details. The people running the place are incredibly kind. My one complaint was the bed, which I found uncomfortable.

The owner, Scott, was right there and ready to help when our refrigerator stopped working. He went and bought us a new one. Our suite was huge, and there was a pleasant patio with picnic tables and a grill. It was a bit out of the way for our event in Rock Springs, but it worked out fine. I'd stay again if I'm in the area.

I almost never give five stars, but this motel really is wonderful. The rooms are simple, yet completely clean and comfortable. The shower felt amazing, almost like having my own sauna, and the owner was funny and very nice. If you're spending a night in Green River, stay here.

The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were extremely friendly. If you're traveling through, I'd recommend stopping here for a good room and welcoming service.
