The best night of our Backcountry motorcycle trip ended up being the one we expected to be a quick stop before heading home. After all those dusty miles, River Rock Inn felt like an oasis. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and put together with care, and the whole property has a welcoming, peaceful charm. Breakfast the next morning was the kind you keep talking about afterward. We never expected our final stay in Green River, Utah to be the highlight of the trip. A real hidden gem for anyone driving through Utah.

We had a great time chatting with Greg, who was such a lovely host. Turns out he also cooks breakfast, and it was delicious. The room was fabulous, with lots of thoughtful touches, including a huge shower with a cobblestone floor and an old-fashioned Fridgadaire for our drinks. From the moment we arrived, the lobby felt enchanting and welcoming. We’d happily come back many more times.

Really good value for the price. The fresh remodel and clean, updated feel exceeded my expectations. Tracy was attentive and accommodating, and breakfast was made to order from scratch. It’s an easy walk to Rays tavern, a grocery store, and a coffee shop. I’d recommend it and stay again.

The fire pits were a nice touch, and a good place to meet people. I was impressed by the little room details too, like glass water glasses, porcelain coffee cups, and robes for after a shower. Breakfast was fantastic for the price. The owner cooks and comes out to take your order. My only tiny complaint is that there wasn’t anywhere to put out and dispose of a cigarette.

We stopped here on the drive from California to Colorado, and it was perfect. Even with overnight temperatures at 40 degrees or below, the room was so well insulated that we didn’t need the heater. Check-in was fun and helpful, the property is beautiful and well cared for, and the room itself was gorgeous. I loved the shower. Breakfast was a 10, with French toast, sausage, and fresh fruit. The owner and staff member we met were both so nice. We felt welcome and at ease, and would love to stop again if we take the same route home.
