Super 8 by Wyndham Green River

We were traveling in two vehicles and had booked ahead through expedia. I called to ask about the pet fee and was told $25, which wasn’t listed on the expedia website. After checking in, I walked past the front desk with my cat. When I came back to dispute the $20 overcharge, the total was $45.36, they said cats weren’t allowed and I had to leave. My wife left with our feline family member, while I stayed to sleep and make sure the fee was credited, since the room was non-refundable.

A simple place with clean rooms, basic amenities, and a quiet night, just what I expected. Lindsey at the front lobby was especially nice and helpful. She answered all my questions without a hint of irritation, and that earns this location five stars from me.

They don’t take cash. I also saw a sign inside while trying to get a room saying they don’t accept Cash App or Apple Pay, and possibly some others I can’t remember. It would’ve been nice to shower and get some sleep in a bed for the night.

Don’t go! The place was filthy and smelled like trash. Worst “hotel” ever. Nobody was there in the morning. The building, rooms, and mattresses were old, and the mattresses bounced like elastic beds.
