A nice breakfast, including an omelet bar, was a highlight for a free hotel meal. The shuttle is a useful extra, and there are plenty of places within walking distance. The location is central, with lots of parking. My room was spacious, clean, fresh-feeling, and in good repair. All in all, a great stay and I’d come back.

Miss Annette was wonderful throughout our meeting in the hotel’s meeting space. The service was the best, and she made us feel genuinely cared for and special. I’ll definitely stay again. Thank you!

We’ve held our company holiday party at the Embassy for the last three years. This year, on January 10th, everything went especially smoothly. Ms. Annette and DC helped direct the evening’s events and made sure things stayed on track. The food and service were great, and Jojo the bartender made wonderful drinks. The whole night was fantastic.

Breakfast was wonderful, well organized, and served in a clean dining area. The rooms smelled clean too, except for the bathroom, where there was mold. I didn’t realize I could ask for another room until we checked out, and they didn’t offer us a discount. We also called several times from our eighth-floor room on two different days for extra cups, regular sugar, or something else, but nobody answered.

The room wasn’t ready when it was supposed to be, at 4PM. I arrived around 6:30 and still waited another hour. Once I got in, it was freezing. I set the thermostat to heat, but two hours later it was still 57 degrees in February, only 17 degrees warmer than outside. The front desk put in a request, then called to say the boiler for my room was down. They were sold out and couldn’t move me, so I asked for blankets. I was told they’d be brought up, but they took over an hour to arrive, and I couldn’t sleep until 11:30. Later, the new desk person had no idea what I was talking about. The same thing happened when I asked for an update on the thermostat. It was frustrating to explain the problem over and over. Thankfully, they were able to move me to a different room that time. I know the room readiness and thermostat issues weren’t the front desk’s fault, but I wish shift changes included better communication and notes in the guest file. Hopefully they can set up a system to keep everyone in the loop. This hotel has the potential to be amazing, but my stay was anything but.
