Greencastle Inn

Greencastle is a beautiful town, and this charming motel is really well kept. I slept great and I'm a huge fan.

I've stayed here several times and haven't had a bad experience. The rooms are affordable and clean, and the service is friendly. I'll keep coming back whenever I'm in the area.

We were out of there within 30 minutes of checking in. The bedding and pillows were dirty, the towels had yellow streaks, and the smell was awful. Watch out for bedbugs too. We paid $84 a night, but to me the room wasn't worth $5-10. We found another place for $185, and I didn't care about the extra cost because I wasn't staying there. Management said they couldn't find the owners to arrange a refund. I'd already called American Express, and they told me to call back and dispute the charge once it posted. I can't help wondering if those five-star reviews are from the owners, their family, or friends. Trying to save money here was the worst decision.

I'll be back next year when I'm in town for work. I've spent a month here, and a lot of my coworkers stay too. I've heard no complaints from them. The couple working here are great, friendly, and always come out to chat and ask what we need. They even adjusted room service hours for our schedules since some of us work nights. The location is perfect too.
