Comfort Inn

The walls were paper thin, and after working until midnight we were jolted awake around 6 a.m. by neighbors repeatedly slamming their door and letting their kids run around until nearly 9, when I assume they left. The A/C smelled awful, and we felt like absolute crap for the next two days. The floor was so dirty our feet were black after walking from the shower to the bed. We travel coast to coast for work and spend over 150 nights a year in hotels. This was by far the worst one we’ve stayed at this year. I honestly don’t know how it’s still a Comfort Inn & Suites. It needs to be downgraded. Do yourself a favor and check out the Double Tree.

We stayed here for a trip to Perfect North. The breakfast was good, with sausage links, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereal, and pastries. The rooms were really nice and not too dated. I’d definitely recommend it.

For $100 a night, I expected more. The room is very basic and doesn’t even have a smart TV, especially odd in 2026. Around $80 would feel more reasonable, and honestly I don’t think I’d come back at the $100 price. It’s somewhere between Red Roof and Holiday Inn Express, less rough than Red Roof but not as good as Holiday Inn. The staff are really friendly, though, and I think they carry the place.

Staff were excellent, friendly, and helpful, and we’d definitely recommend the hotel. We stayed five nights in mid-October after leaving the hotel that had been our first choice, and wished we’d picked this one first. The room was nice and clean, and the comfortable beds came with a decent number of pillows. The pool was warm and had toys, and the gym was nice too. Breakfast was difficult each morning.
