Marriott Greensboro Downtown

We've been coming here for years and love staying here whenever we're in town to visit family. It's a great spot near lots of shops and restaurants. Christine, Vicky, and Janet are absolute gems, and they go out of their way for guests while keeping the M club in tip top shape. Marriott convoy members can get evening hors d'oeuvres there through the week. The bistro has a tasty breakfast you can buy, and the bartenders are friendly and experienced, with seasonal drinks too.

The team made us feel like friends. The bartenders Todd, Tyler, and Yvonne were warm and friendly, with good conversation, and Christin in the lounge was welcoming and attentive. The hotel's service was outstanding.

I love staying at this Marriott. It's always clean, beautiful, and well cared for, and the staff are consistently warm, welcoming, and professional. I feel valued each visit and the hospitality is top tier. But there's a recurring issue with Booking dot com: every time I book there, it clearly says breakfast is included. At the hotel, I'm told it isn't. Booking dot com then says I didn't select the breakfast option, even though the detailed booking information stated it was included. This has happened several times and feels misleading, not like a simple mistake. It creates needless confusion for guests relying on accurate information. Whether it's a system problem or poor communication between the hotel and Booking dot com, both sides need to fix it. That part is unprofessional and frustrating. The property and staff still make each stay enjoyable, and I hope Marriott and Booking dot com resolve this so the guest experience matches the hotel's high standard.

We only stayed one night, but the hotel looked recently updated, with a lovely lobby and welcoming staff. Our room was nicely appointed, and the bed was very comfortable. The towels were thick, the shower had plenty of pressure, and having the parking garage just off the lobby was convenient.
