The check-in and checkout felt a bit haphazard since there isn't permanent staff. At checkout no one was there, and when we called, we couldn't understand the woman on the main line; the other number went unanswered. We left our keys on the bed, though it would've been nice to get confirmation. On the plus side, the nuns were very friendly, the decor welcoming, and the pretty, impressively large grounds were lovely. Breakfast was nicely set out with a very satisfactory selection, and they answer email questions quickly.

The sisters made sure we had what we needed, and the home felt like our own, only probably more luxurious. It was such a relaxing place to get away from the fast-paced world, with beautiful surrounding grounds. Can't overstate how restful it was.

The air conditioning didn't cool every area, so some nights it got very hot in bed. The caretakers were kind and the hospitality was very nice, though. Beds were comfy, breakfast was hot, and the place was decorated beautifully. We had amazing experiences otherwise.
