The room was cheap and clean, and it worked for what we needed, but the heater never shut off and I saw a bug in the tub. I don’t know what kind it was, and it went down the drain. There are paper-thin walls, and we woke to severe screaming in the middle of the night. The front desk is often unattended, so you have to call the manager to come out of her room, and she gets an attitude about doing her job. I was in the middle of writing a good review despite her rude, hateful comments, and was prepared to let them go. Then she knocked and said she couldn’t accommodate our extension because construction workers were coming in. She expected us to extend because our car was in the shop, but didn’t tell us until 11:15 that we had to be out by noon. She said the next motel was just across the parking lot, but it was more like a quarter mile away. We had to pack up after a Walmart food order had been delivered and walk there, even though my husband had 10 broken ribs from a car accident with a semi truck a week earlier. We’d broken down while driving home across the country with little money, and she showed no compassion or empathy for what we were dealing with.

It was basically clean, and we stayed during a cross-country trip. There were lots of long-term residents, so you’ll probably end up chatting with someone. If you’re introverted or autistic, you might prefer spending extra on a more traditional room. For us, it was a room and shower between Kansas City and the East Coast.

The air conditioning worked excellently while we were here during a heat wave. The room was clean and it was very quiet. Great value for the money, and we’d definitely stay again.

I work in Greenville now and then, and being able to park my work truck right by the door is perfect. The place is affordable, rooms are clean, the staff are great, and I’ve never brought home bed bugs or anything. There’s cable and a refrigerator, plus a hot shower and now breakfast. A couple more microwaves would be useful, but I’m happy with the tradeoff. I could pay $20 more for the place down the road with a pool, but I’m here to get the job done. Very thankful for this place.

The quiet and peace made my two-day stay well worth it. The rooms were cleaned daily, the appliances worked, the hot water came quickly, and convenience stores are right in town. It was a good room for a fair price. The staff were very friendly, as was the town, and the hard-working owner treated us with nothing but kindness. I’m genuinely pleased despite minor flaws. I’ll recommend this hotel and will surely come back.
