Affordable Suites Greenville

The suites are a great deal and exceptionally clean. Mine had a living room with a TV and a kitchenette stocked with an oven, stove, microwave, fridge, plates, glasses, mugs, and silverware. It made me wish I’d had someone over. The neighborhood is lovely, and the hotel has a classic Southern look. Patty texted me to call when I arrived so she could bring a key. When I mentioned my late flight, she put it in a lockbox and sent the code and directions. I highly recommend this place.

We were out of there after 20 minutes. The room smelled overwhelmingly of animal urine, the worst smell I’ve paid to sleep around. The floors were sticky and every surface felt neglected, like a Waffle House that hadn’t been cared for. The bed, walls, and bathroom were uncomfortable, full of holes, and badly worn, which was about what you’d expect at this price. Maybe it’s tolerable if you’re alone and don’t care where you stay. With family or anyone you care about, go somewhere else. I wouldn’t return or recommend it.

Checking in with Dana, who clearly cares about her properties, and meeting Gary, who takes cleanliness seriously, set the tone for a stay that exceeded my expectations. I knew the room would be clean and safe, and it was spotless, quiet, and secure. Several staff members on break greeted me as soon as I pulled into the parking lot, and everyone was incredibly friendly. No downsides for me. I highly recommend this hotel in Greenville.

I drove five hours to check in at 4:30 p.m. and was told they’d already checked everyone in and had no rooms left. I’d booked on August 8, nearly two weeks before my stay. The new “general manager” had no room for me and basically said too bad, with an attitude to match. What a terrible, unfriendly operation. The place is a dump, too. Book somewhere else, because they might give your room away. What a joke.
