Jesse made our visit better with his hospitality, professionalism, and helpful suggestions for places to eat, visit, and spend time outdoors. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean, and the bedding smelled fresh, unlike at some Hiltons we’ve stayed in. We appreciated seeing maintenance work happening, though the remodeling did make things chaotic while we were on vacation. We look forward to coming back once it’s finished.

The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable, though the bathroom was a little small and in good working order. It’s a quiet spot just outside the busier area, close to parks and downtown. As they remodel, I’d suggest room-darkening window coverings, more outlets with USB ports, and a couple of chairs since there’s room for them. I’m glad to support local businesses and look forward to seeing the changes.

The online pictures give a misleading impression. My room smelled awful, had visible stains, and there was hair left in the bathroom, so it didn’t seem properly cleaned. More than half the ceiling tiles had water stains, and the TV channels barely worked. The price makes no sense for this experience; the same money could get you a much better stay elsewhere. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Easy check-in and checkout, and the room was clean with a comfortable bed. I heard they’ll be renovating the rooms soon, so I’m looking forward to coming back for my second stay in June!

Jesse and the new owners are doing a great job improving the motel. They’re accommodating, and I think it’s going to look really nice when they’re finished. I’d give it a 5 plus, or more.
