Quality Inn Greer - Greenville

Snow kept me in Greer, so I spent three nights at the Quality Inn. The first room had a broken spring in the mattress or bed frame that groaned whenever I moved, and I couldn't sleep for the first two nights. The bedside lights didn't work either. On the third day I paid to upgrade, hoping to get some rest, but the bathroom sink in the new room didn't work. The jacuzzi tub had lots of hair and a cigarette burn. After I cleaned it, the jets sprayed black stuff when I switched them on. The upgrade listing said there'd be a minibar, but there wasn't one, and the hotel doesn't sell anything for one either. Both rooms had issues: the first had gaps at the top and bottom of the door that let in cold air and snow. My sister fell on the sidewalks, and my car got stuck trying to park near the room because the driveway and sidewalk hadn't been salted. I hope I get my security deposit back, but after reading these reviews before writing mine, I doubt it.

For the price, the large king room was hard to fault. It was clean, quiet, smoke-free, and in the right spot for me. I've stayed in other two-star hotels this year, and this was better than those. The internet was steady and worked well enough for business.

I've stayed at a lot of Quality Inn Choice hotels, and this was the cleanest one I've experienced by far. I'd recommend this location and will definitely come back.

I came expecting to stay a couple of days, but my rental was delayed for repairs and I ended up staying eight days so far. Mr. Patel and the staff understood what was going on and let me keep booking the same room every couple of days. They made the whole stay easy and peaceful, and I'm grateful for that. Room 108 was a great one-bed room, right up front in the best spot in the building. The place is clean and well kept, with a clean pool and no loud activity or people outside. Breakfast each morning was awesome, and the staff greeted me with friendly smiles. Five stars, and I'd recommend this Quality Inn to anyone. Thanks to Mr Patel and the staff for all your help.
