The clean beds, quiet night, and kind night manager were the few good parts of our stay. We booked two rooms for one night based on the Google listing, which promised breakfast, a pool, WiFi, and a microwave and fridge in the rooms. Breakfast hasn't been served for years, and the pool was empty and poorly maintained, though both are still advertised. The outside of the property also showed visible damage. One room had no bathroom door knob, microwave, or WiFi. In the other, the AC leaked badly enough to soak the floor and some bedding. The microwave had no turntable, and we had to unplug the fridge to use it. The office had no spare pillows, and one room's entry door wouldn't lock securely. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this stay was abysmal. I hope the online listing is updated so other travelers can make an informed choice.

After two nights here with my pets, I'd choose sleeping in the back of my van next time. Google Maps described the place as pet friendly and said breakfast was free, but they haven't served breakfast for about three years. I also wasn't told about the pet fee until I was checking out after the second night. The room had holes in the floors and walls, and only about one in five TV channels came through, if that. The toilet refilled slowly and barely flushed. There was no room phone, and only half the lights worked. A group of men gathered outside my room, talking and drinking at all hours of the night.

The room was just gross. The carpet felt gritty and looked like it had been wet without being cleaned. With the AC running, the carpet started getting wet too, so I assume the unit was leaking. They turned the AC off but still rented the room. It was one of the hottest days of the month, and the room was unbearably hot when we arrived. The bathroom sink held dirty standing water that never drained, and the door handle was broken.

We refused to stay in the room and found somewhere in Greenwood MS instead, but couldn't get our money back. Never again. The sheets didn't look clean, there was mold on the ceiling, and the toilet and tub were nasty. Someone had stuffed a plastic dollar general bag inside the vent. Breakfast was still advertised even though it hasn't been served since Covid. If I could give zero stars, I would. The place was disgusting.

There is truck parking for bobtails and straight trucks, and the rate was a deal at $66.00 a night if you can put up with the atmosphere. The rooms are mostly nice, and housekeeping takes out the trash and makes the beds. There's on-site laundry and extended stays are available. It's right off I-55 exit 206 and MS Hwy 8, but the property has seen better days and feels run down and seedy, not the most wholesome motel in town. The restaurant is closed, there's no continental breakfast, and the swimming pool has no water. The only working ice machine broke too.
