The service was awful from check-in through checkout: rude staff, no help, and no effort at customer service. They told us at booking that payment was due at check-in and asked for our license plate number. The front desk staff seemed unable to do anything. When we asked for the refund policy, the clerk said it was in the General Manager's office, which was locked. After we returned late one night, our beds hadn't been made, and we were told the maids had used an "iffy" judgment about whether to make them. The business center and gym had also been out of order for months. During the past holiday, we got no room service at all: no towels, overflowing trash cans, and an empty-looking food station. The clerks then said they couldn't refund us because the General Manager was away until the following week. We also heard from locals that the property had recently been closed by the State Sanitation office, and were frankly shocked it was open for business. Don't book here. If Madison hotels are full, keep going and stay at the Hampton Inn down the street, or the Hampton in Conyers, about 20 minutes away from I-20. At least the FTC hasn't fined the chain within the last year for recklessly exposing your credit card information. Thanks to this location, I'll never stay at a Wyndham property again.

The whole third floor smells like cigars. The gym is out of order, and the spa is under construction. A post from a few months ago said the gym was out of order then too. When you pay for a nice room, you expect to enjoy the amenities.

So far I like it. I haven't tried breakfast yet, but it's nice enough that I'll stay again for work.

The service was great, and the room was just fine for a good night's rest. Thank you.
