Snowvillage Inn

Christmas Eve with our kids at The Snowvillage Inn was really special, and the stay was fantastic. A special thanks to Chef Jeremy, who was a Christmas miracle this morning. My husband drove into a snowbank and couldn't get out. Chef Jeremy didn't have to help us, but he did, and he turned our day around.

The setting is beautiful, with mountain views and lots of ways to enjoy the outdoors nearby. Our room had everything we needed and was extremely comfortable, with a great cabin feel shared by the rooms and houses. We arrived later in the afternoon and were warmly welcomed in the restaurant, with staff asking if we needed anything. I hadn't researched carefully and didn't realize there was a restaurant on site. We'd already booked dinner elsewhere, but I'm looking forward to coming back to try their dinner. We slept past the usual breakfast hours, but at checkout another gentleman asked how the stay was and told me they'd kept some breakfast options warm for us. Everyone took time to make sure we were happy and left smiling. This was a great experience, and we're looking forward to returning and would recommend it to a friend.

The Inn is a real hidden gem, and its location is ideal. I stayed in late August '24, and the hospitality made the trip. Jennifer Stilwell, her daughter, and everyone working in the restaurant and bar were just wonderful. The service was amazing. This thank-you is long overdue, but I’m grateful to everyone there for making my stay so great.

The views are incredible, and my room was clean and comfortable in this quaint little hotel. A few easy fixes would improve things: there was no bottled water in the room, and the continental breakfast amounted to coffee and a pastry. Some fruit juice and cereal would make it feel like a proper breakfast. Even on a holiday weekend the bar and restaurant were closed, so there wasn’t even a drink available.
