There’s no coffee, ice, meals, or real lobby here. The restaurant has been gutted, and the makeshift lobby is just a table where nobody seems to be. The walls are covered with tarps, and what you see on this page isn’t what you’ll find at the hotel. Our bathroom door had a hole kicked in it, and there were sketchy workmen on our floor a lot. The elevator was odd too: to go down, you had to press the up button. Maids only came every THREE days. The hallways reeked HEAVVVVVVILY of cigarettes, sometimes weed, and someone’s nasty smelling dog or dogs. We had to hold our breath. DO NOT BOOK HERE.

The room was at least somewhat clean, but that was about the only good thing. There was mold, a random hole cut into the ceiling with a recessed fire sprinkler, and disrepair everywhere. Most of the AC units had been ripped out, and we were told the elevator was out of order when we arrived. The desk gentleman was friendly and gave us a first-floor room for convenience, but the hallway smelled overwhelmingly of marijuana. We stayed two nights. There was no room service, though they did empty the trash. When we asked for more towels, they handed us what were basically big hand towels and said that was all they had. The beds were old, hard, and only full-sized. We got no sleep. Our souvenirs were stolen from the room, a gift bag with stickers and a coffee mug simply vanished. That’s completely unacceptable. Maybe don’t keep thieves on your staff. This was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had, and we were so relieved to check out today. Between the theft, the lack of basic amenities, the rundown condition, and those awful beds, this place is a disgrace. I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy. If I could give it 0 stars, I would. STAY AWAY.

The only decent thing about this place was that they refunded us when we said we weren’t staying. We’d booked one room with 2 double beds for a fun trip with friends, but at check-in they said double-bed rooms were in short supply and offered us 2 rooms with king beds instead. The front desk person was very nice, but we were unhappy with that change. We went up to inspect the rooms. The elevator walls were duck-taped, and the floor smelled strongly of cigarettes. There were stains on the hallway carpets. In one room, the toilet kept running and had overfilled, the bed was uncomfortable, and there was mold on the ceiling. The other room was freezing, had a space heater, and also had mold. We’d already noticed construction outside, windows ripped out of rooms, and dumpsters full of dirty mattresses as we pulled in, so we knew something was off.

Renovation is one thing, but people talking loudly and construction right outside my window before 8 am on the 3rd floor made it impossible to get morning rest. Check out may be at 11, but don’t expect to sleep in. Try somewhere quieter, like the Ramada down the road. Better breakfast too.
