The location on the beautiful Mystic River was hard to beat, and being right in town meant we could walk around after leaving what felt like our own luxury cabin on a steamboat. We stayed a wonderful week at the Steamboat Inn in the Marie Gilbert room, our first visit, and expect to return. Sonny, the Owner, made us feel at home and checked that our stay was going well. Loren gave us wonderful service and even helped park our car in a tight spot during a blizzard. Renda made sure we had what we needed each evening. Lisa and Parke cooked made-to-order breakfasts and remembered our special requests each morning. Melissa and Sarah provided gracious housekeeping, and kept asking what else they could do for us, and meant it. Everyone also had good recommendations for restaurants and sights.
