This used to be one of my favorite places to stay when I came back to Grove City, and after a few dozen visits I'd never had a problem before. This time I waited nearly 20 minutes at 10 pm for Megan to check us in. I called the front desk and let it ring 30 times before she came out of her office. She gave us free breakfast, but after seeing the room, I wasn't sure what to make of that. The microwave and fridge were filthy, with crusty food and hair inside, and there were hairs in the sink, tub, and bed. The toilet and tub handles were about to fall off, and whoever did the remodel did a terrible job. Both shower dispensers, shampoo and conditioner, were empty, so I had to wash my hair with body wash. The bathroom also had an overpowering mildew smell every time I went in. I felt like I'd been punked and landed in a Motel 6 from the 90s. What happened to this hotel? Never again.
6/10
There was no free breakfast, and the lobby coffee was gone after 10 am. My first-floor room near the pool was spacious and comfortable, but the walls let through every sound. People in the hall were loud at night, and I could even hear someone yawning through the wall. That's unacceptable.
4/10
The staff were great, the location was good, and I liked the room and the bathroom safety bar. But the walls are paper thin. I heard the person next door snoring all night, and an employee was vacuuming the hallway at midnight. That's why I'm giving it two stars.
10/10
This is my regular hotel in grove city. The rooms are clean and the beds are really comfortable. The staff are always friendly, helpful, and accommodating, especially Megan.
10/10
We had a great time here. The service and quality were amazing, and I'd definitely recommend the place and come back. The location isn't bad, just in a high-traffic area.
