Wingate by Wyndham Macon

What stood out most was the staff, who were very helpful and accommodating. We stayed one night at the Wingate in Macon ga. with my wife, and were extremely happy with the spacious, clean room, the water pressure, and the location. Breakfast had waffles, pastries, different cereals, coffee, orange juice and peach juice. There was plenty of well-lit parking, with several dining choices nearby. Cracker Barrel was the closest.

The people in Macon were sweet and helpful. Our room was nicely set up with what we needed, including a microwave, refrigerator and coffee pot. The hotel was clean, and the complimentary breakfast was delicious.

The beds were good and the rooms were nice, but the shower was a problem. It only had a curtain, no door, and water ended up on the floor whatever we tried. The lip was too shallow. Breakfast was terrible too, the food was ice cold even though it was supposed to be hot.

I stay here when I'm in town for work. It's been a good, fairly peaceful place, and the staff are always nice. The rooms could be cleaned better.
