Marriott Macon City Center

I've stayed here many times, and every visit has been great. Most recently, I'd forgotten to book a room, but they got me into a great one quickly. Geri is amazing, and my room is always clean. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful. I regularly have dinner at the very good restaurant while I'm there. Ray at the lobby bar is so sweet and always does a phenomenal job. I'd definitely recommend the Marriott if you're downtown in Macon.

I attended a work conference while several large events were happening at the hotel. The parking lot couldn't handle that many people, and it felt like the hotel had overbooked. Our conference had a large number of women, but nobody was tending the restrooms. With that many attendees, someone should have checked them regularly. They ran out of toilet paper and soap, and the trash was overflowing.

Melanie at the front desk made the stay at Marriott especially enjoyable. She was warm, welcoming, and professional from the moment I arrived, and her friendly manner set the tone for the visit. Check-in was quick and easy, and she made sure I had what I needed to be comfortable. It's rare to meet someone so dedicated to good service. I had an amazing experience and highly recommend the hotel, especially if Melanie helps you. Thanks for making the stay memorable.

It was my first visit to Macon, and the Marriott exceeded my expectations. The rooms were clean and the hotel had a great atmosphere, but the service stood out most, especially from Azalee, also known as “Cash.” She made me feel welcome from the start. Whenever we crossed paths, her warmth and positive attitude brightened my day. She clearly takes pride in her work and cares about giving guests a good experience. Thank you, Cash, for being kind, professional, and attentive to what I needed. I'll definitely return to the Marriott next time I'm in Macon.
