The breakfast was good, and the eating area was clean. Our room and bathroom were nice, and the woman at the front desk was helpful and cool. The only issue was the heat, which could make the room feel a bit sticky at night.

I was right by the elevator, so it wasn’t very quiet, but the room was a good deal for the price. Everything was clean, and Sharon in the breakfast area was so friendly and welcoming. She struck up a conversation and was a joy to talk with while we ate. Thanks, Sharon!

I spent a couple of weeks here and everyone was really kind, from the front desk staff to the housekeepers. I got extremely sick, though it wasn’t contagious, and they seemed to understand and gave me space. It took a while, but I eventually got better. The pool was wonderful, though I wish I’d been able to use it, and I also didn’t get to use the fitness room. The area of town is great, and I’d highly recommend the hotel.

We found a huge, tall jacuzzi in the room we were moved to, which we hadn’t expected. We had a good laugh about needing help to get over the high tub wall to shower. The move happened after the second floor smelled strange as soon as we stepped out of the elevator. In our original room, the air was so thick with smoke smell that I immediately got a headache and felt sick, even though La Quinta says it’s smoke free. I asked the front desk audit person for help, and she eventually switched us to a first floor room with a queen bed. We were exhausted, so we didn’t complain and just went to sleep. It was clear the hotel had been a smoking property before.
