Jonathan's Inn

It’s a really clean, quiet, spacious place, and I’ve always felt safe here. There’s not much coming and going, and I’ve had no problems at all. Each visit has been great, and the stay is trouble-free most days. I wouldn’t trade it for another hotel. This is one of my top choices for people coming to work at refineries. It’s a great spot for workers, whether guys or girls. When I come back to Jonathan's Inn motel in the future, I hope things are going well there.

The room looked decent, but there was old food in the fridge and a bar of soap left in the shower, so I doubt it had been cleaned. By the next day I had around 20-30 bug bites from my head to my feet. I wear boots all day, so there’s no way I got the ones on my feet during the day. They must have come from that room. I won’t return and would recommend staying somewhere else. A travel site listed the room for $45, but when I arrived, the man wouldn’t honor that price and charged me $65. He said it was because they were busy for hurricane Harvey, and I could take it or leave it. It felt like price gouging during a disaster. I travel a lot and know cheap motels can be a “get what you pay for” situation, but this was too much.

We stayed here during a work week, and the place was quiet with almost no traffic coming and going. The owner was very friendly, the water got really hot, and our room was very clean. I’ve stayed at many motels, and this was one of the cleanest rooms I’ve had. The beds were clean, too. The cable TV had lots of channels, the air conditioning worked great, and both the fridge and microwave worked well. There was Wi-Fi, a BBQ pit, and a bench under a tree. The backyard had plenty of room for our fur babies to run around. Prices are good and affordable, and he’d work with you. I was very satisfied, and I’d stay here again if I come back to the area. I recommend it.

I was here for three weeks and had everything I needed in the room, including a bed, a full refrigerator, and a decent shower. It was seven minutes from my job and 11 minutes from the nearest Walmart. The staff were great, and the weekly price was better than any other hotel or motel around. I’ll definitely return if another project brings me to the area.
