The hotel’s private beach access is down a steep set of steps. It was special to walk right to the water, and the tide pools are worth a look at low tide. Watch your footing on slippery rocks, and don’t touch the wildlife. There’s also a community room with another coffee maker, games, and a fantastic ocean view. We enjoyed tea and coffee there while watching the sunrise, even under cloudy skies. We loved our stay at Whale Watch Inn. Our comfortable, clean room had a kitchen stocked with cutlery, dishes, and cooking wear, plus a balcony with a great ocean view. The big jacuzzi tub was incredible, and the fireplace was lovely. The retro style is well maintained. There are plenty of windows, so we woke with the sunrise. It was quiet and relaxing, though the WiFi was spotty in our room. That didn’t bother us much since we didn’t need it often. Miren, who runs everything, was incredibly kind and had good local suggestions for restaurants and hikes. Email about availability if you have questions. It’s a peaceful place for a relaxing vacation.

The views across the property were spectacular, and we especially enjoyed the large whale-watching room. It has windows spanning a 180° ocean view, seating for at least 20, a big fireplace in the middle, and a reclining massage chair where I spent hours relaxing. We had two peaceful days at this beautiful bed and breakfast. The owner, Miren, made sure we had what we needed and was an amazing person and wonderful cook. Both mornings, she delivered a fresh gourmet breakfast to our room. The room’s hot tub and fireplace added to the romantic, relaxing feel. I’d highly recommend Whale Watch Inn, and we’ll definitely be back. Tip: book directly through the hotel to get the wonderful gourmet breakfasts.

There are lots of places to take in the gorgeous views, including the hot tub on our deck and the private fireplace in our room. Miren provided a Duraflame log each night, so starting the fire was easy. Our 'Heart Song' room was clean and comfortable, and the towels and linens smelled divine. We had a lovely two-night stay at Whale Watch Inn, with Miren’s warm welcome, hospitality, and breakfasts delivered to our room each morning. She gave us a grand tour unlike any we’d had before, and we savored every moment. It’s a unique property, and I’d happily recommend staying here.

We stayed near the end of September for our anniversary in the Heart Song Suite. It was a peaceful, relaxing visit. The back deck had a hot tub where we could enjoy the ocean view and hear the waves crashing on shore. At night, we looked up at a sky full of stars while soaking, which was pretty awesome. The cool nights were perfect for lighting the room’s fireplace, and wood was left outside our front door each day. The full breakfast that came with the room was delicious. Our host Marin was so nice and accommodating, and easy to talk to. She showed us around the grounds and the community room, which has a beautiful panoramic ocean view and extras for guests, like coffee and cream, wine glasses and an opener, plus lots of other things. The area feels private, and it’s a bit of a drive to restaurants or a nearby beach.

I’m writing this from our private balcony, with sun on my face, watching the ocean and hearing the waves break. It’s one of the most relaxing stays we’ve ever had. The weather has been outstanding, and so have the views and our time here. Miren has been every bit as lovely as the comments say. She has a real gift for hospitality, which isn’t something you find often, and it’s delightful when you do. You can tell she sincerely wants her guests to have the best time. Our Swan room is clean but homey, and having a real fireplace with wood delivered every day was the icing on the cake. We loved it here and would love to come back. Thank you, Miren. Gratefully, Paul & Brenda 💕💕
