Tower Inn And Suites Of Guilford - Madison

I was in town for my brother's funeral and stayed one night, Saturday, November 21st, in room 101. After checking in at 3 p.m., I found both the living room and bedroom cold. I left both heaters set to 76 while I went to my brother's wake. When I got back at 8:30 p.m., the bedroom heater was blowing cold air and the living room one didn't work at all. Someone came to check and confirmed the problem. Their only fix was noisy electric space heaters, so I couldn't get a good night's sleep.

The owner was at reception and offered me a kitchenette suite for the price of a double, which made Tower Inn and Suites a great value. I needed somewhere for 10 days while my house in Madison was being repaired, and had checked two other motels first. The suite included a sitting area, desk, microwave, minifridge, food storage drawers, and sink. The shower had good pressure, something I don't take for granted after a job that involved frequent travel. There was also a flat screen TV with a decent cable package and most of the channels I watch. Repair delays meant I had to change my dates twice, and the owner kept the same rate. For its location, amenities, service, and cost, I think it's the best value motel on the Shoreline.

Basic but clean and warm, and it does the job at a reasonable price. Bring your own pillow, though. The ones there are just basic stuffed foam and not good.

We all felt relaxed and comfortable, and the service was great. Everything was clean and shiny, and the floor was really comfortable. There are several ways to get to the bathroom, which is a good thing. The only downside was that the coffee machine broke while we were using it. Thanks for the great service!
