Best Western On The Beach

Heather at the front desk made this stay memorable. She was warm from the moment we arrived and kept making sure we had what we needed. She even put a photo of Danny DeVito in our room after I made my usual ridiculous request. I honestly don’t know why I ask for something silly everywhere I stay, but Heather is the first person who’s actually done it. Check-in was quick and easy, parking was great, and shops and restaurants were walkable. The beach was ridiculously close, too. That kind of attention and willingness to have fun made a great stay unforgettable. We’ll be back, as long as Heather’s still there. ;)

Three nights went by too quickly, and we’re hoping to return for longer next time. After a week on the road, the beds here were the most comfortable we’d found, and the view was just as good as we’d hoped. The front desk also gave us some excellent restaurant recommendations. We had a great stay at the Best Western in Gulf Shores.

Our other reservation was canceled just two hours before check-in, so we booked this place on a whim. It’s right on the beach in the heart of Gulf Shores, with lots to do nearby. We’ve really enjoyed the stay, especially the two nice pools. Everyone was helpful with booking and getting us anything we needed.

The rooms look nice and the location is hard to beat, though some rooms are bigger than others and you don’t get to choose your room or floor. They assign one. There’s lots to do around Alabama, with plenty of places to eat nearby, plus the hotel’s Island Pancake House. There’s also a zoo close by that y’all NEED to check out. I highly recommend coming here on vacation. 15/15 Stars. I added some pictures from the zoo and other spots in Alabama.
