My whole family was pleased with the rental’s condition, the view, and the overall experience. We had a nice stay in the four-bedroom on the 10th floor. If you’re planning a trip to Gulf Shores, consider one of Edgewater’s penthouse four-bedroom condos. I recommend giving Edgewater a try if you haven’t already.

My new shoes disappeared from beside the pool after I left them under the back patio for about two hours. I’d put them right next to a camera to be safe. When I called the head building manager, they insisted there wasn’t a camera there. I sent a photo showing the cameras, and then they stopped answering my calls. Terrible service, and the pool was nasty. Don’t come here.

The view is nice and the condos are good, but we’re on day six of our stay and the building’s only elevator is still out indefinitely. We were told it was struck by lightning the day after we checked in. We’re stuck on the ninth floor with a 75-year-old and a toddler.

You get great beach views, but the building is old and run-down, and the elevator breaks down every day. The renovations feel like nothing more than a coat of paint. They know the elevator is a safety hazard and still rent out units. That’s criminal. Avoid this place and go somewhere else.
