The best parts were the location, easy beach access, and parking, which never gave us trouble. We also appreciated the carts and buggies, the clean outdoor restroom, and a very comfortable master bed. But the condo didn't match the spotless, almost-new impression from the VRBO pictures. There was dust left around from what looked like wall sanding, and the air filter was filthy. Lighting was poor, with lamps doing all the work, and several decorative items were rusty, making me wonder if there had been water damage. The balcony view was also less direct than the listing suggested. You could see the beach from the side of the building, but not sit on the balcony and look out over the sand. The pool was small and too crowded for us to use on several days. The master shower drained slowly, so we ended up standing in dirty water while washing or shaving. We had a Wi-Fi issue, but they sent the right information promptly. We were given a late checkout notice the day before leaving, but housekeeping hadn't been told and came into the room shortly after 10 in the morning.

A lovely condo for a Gulf Shore vacation, with a coffee bar that I really appreciated. It had pretty much everything we needed, so just bring food, drinks, and beach towels.

Room 306 was in a great beach area, and we could walk to shops and places to eat, including the Pink Pony. Check-in at the office was easy, but the employees there worked for a different rental company than our provider, Vacasa, so they couldn't help with condo problems. We also had to get the correct Wi-Fi details from the office because the email had the wrong ones. Inside, the condo looked nothing like the pictures. It was dated and uncomfortable, with a hard bed and cheap bedding that left us short on sleep. There were hardly any outlets and lots of lamps for lighting. The fridge had rust on the side, the old stove had burners that didn't work right, and the vent hood looked disgusting. The garbage disposal smelled like rotten food and sent up so many fruit flies that I kept the stopper in the sink all week. It didn't seem to have had a deep clean in ages. The sofa had water stains and smelled old, and a picture had been tucked behind it, though it looked like it used to hang above the couch. The toilet rocked when you sat down, and the tub drained so slowly that water collected while showering. Kitchen water pressure was poor because of the old faucet. On the plus side, the dishwasher looked fairly new, and the showerhead and bathroom faucet were nice. The building exterior was being updated, but the condos still need a lot of work. We won't stay here again. The pictures are misleading.

After a five-hour drive, we found out the second parking space we were promised wasn't available because they were overbooked. The resort lot was empty, but our children had to park in overflow ten minutes away. Nearby public parking cost $15-$18 per day and didn't allow overnight parking. We're unhappy with Brett Robinson and won't book here again.

For unit 809, the balcony view was amazing, and we loved the pool area. The master bed had a flat sheet that didn't fit, with no fitted sheet. The pullout couch was broken, and the showerhead in the second bathroom needs replacing.
