Sail House West

Our condo, B101, is beautifully updated and feels like a home away from home when we’re at the shores. The location is great, with Gulf views and plenty to do just minutes from Summerhouse West. The beach is a one-minute walk across from the Gulf, with private access. There’s also a great pool, plus a private fishing pier and boat slips on Little Lagoon.

Booked through Air B & B and found it to be a great, convenient place.

We had much better luck casting into the deeper water, since the lagoon is shallow around the dock. The dock is only steps from the front door, and fishing there was excellent. From the balcony, the lagoon views were simply beautiful. Tip for fishing: check Google Maps for the darker spots near the pier and cast there.

The stairs are the one real drawback. You park at ground level, then have to carry everything up a long flight, and it can make you wish you could just stay in the car. Once inside, though, there was enough room for our two families and three kids. The kids loved being able to stroll along the beach, which is very close, and we also enjoyed how easily we could get to the lagoon behind the property. We found the condo through Airbnb while looking for a place near the Gulf shore. Its location across the road gives you a beautiful Gulf shore view that’s hard to beat. Finding the right unit on arrival can be a little confusing, but following the check-in instructions should get you to the condo.
