Surf Side Shores

Condo 1905 is decent, not horrible, but the unit needs attention and updating. I’ve stayed in condos at different price points and understand you get what you pay for, but consumers should still be able to expect more. I’d like the next guest to have a different experience. There are several safety and maintenance concerns. The thresholds between rooms are cracked, and the outlets in the second bedroom and kitchen are loose and crackle and pop, with worn contacts. The living room patio door sticks on the right side. The main bedroom mirror is pulling away from the wall, and the spare room sink drains very slowly. Cleanliness and upkeep also need work. There was hair on the shower walls in both bathrooms, and hair in the second bedroom nightstand drawer. When I moved that bedroom’s bed to reach an outlet, I found dirt, which makes me think the beds aren’t moved during cleaning. The vacuum hadn’t been emptied after use. The main bathroom mats and indoor exit rug were worn and discolored, which was quite disgusting. There was dust and dirt along the left side of the fridge. The condo smelled musty, and the couch looked very worn and dirty. The main bedroom pillows seemed extremely cheap and worn. The toilets are low, which could be difficult for someone with knee injuries or for older people.
