Motel 6 Gulfport, MS – Airport

I like this motel because of the people who run it. The owners are great and actually care. The rooms are pretty much what you’d expect, nothing special, but warm. The location is prime. Hospitality is almost everything, lol. Thanks for being awesome. Steven-219

Jay and Lina, the owners, are really nice and always make my family and me feel welcome when we stay. The location is convenient, it’s a good value, and the place is well lit at night. The front desk is always open, and housekeeping are friendly. They’re updating all the rooms and have installed smart TVs.

It cost $70, which felt too high for a room in this condition. I was thinking more like $45-55. The place was disgusting and I felt unsafe the whole stay. There was a strong weed smell and shady people outside. The room was filthy and sticky, with stained pillows, sticky handles, and a chair covered in some white substance. There was also a door connecting to the next hotel room, and it didn’t even lock. If I could give zero stars, I would.

The rooms are small, but they do the job, and they’re clean. Customer service was nice, so I’d stay again and recommend it to others. It does look like people live here, but that doesn’t bother me. You never know what someone’s going through. I’ve been there. The weekly rate during an event was excellent. Good job!
