The full kitchen is great for making breakfast and having quiet evenings in, and there were plenty of amenities to keep us happy. Another lovely stay at Island Acres in a clean cabin. If you're visiting your Western U student, mention it, Western U family get a discount!
For our fall getaway, the cabin at Island Acres worked perfectly. It has room for nine, with space for everyone to gather over a meal inside and more seating outside for dessert. It’s our favorite place to stay when we’re in Gunnison.
The resort had lots of things to use, including outdoor games, and a nice patio seating area for gathering and grilling a group meal. We stayed in the cabin with family and had everything we needed to make it home for a few days in Gunnison. I’ve stayed here before, too, and it was clean and high quality, with great service.
I love how quiet and peaceful it is here, and this was my second stay. The rooms are really clean, the beds are comfortable, and I like the decor. Whenever we needed anything, we could call Pam and she’d take care of it. Thanks for a wonderful stay. We’ll be back when we’re in the Gunnison Co. area.
We were here 10 years ago and came back last week. The vintage kitchenettes are still delightful, and everything was meticulously clean. The office also has lots of games, extra toiletries, and other kitchenware options. Such a fantastic hidden gem!
