The hotel is in nasty condition, and the staff are unprofessional and rude. Sunny, the manager, is horrible at housekeeping. My room had mold spots on the bathroom ceiling and fridge, and there were rat traps intended to catch pests. The microwave was full of bugs, and the rooms were filled with roaches of all sizes and other bugs. Stay at your own risk. Don't stay here.

I had to sleep in my car for the rest of my stay because of the roaches and other critters. The rooms were full of roaches of all sizes and other bugs, and there were bugs in the microwave. Rat traps were set in the rooms to catch pests, and there were mold spots on the bathroom ceilings. Management was rude and unprofessional. Sunny, the manager, refused to refund us for the awful condition of the hotel. He offered a discount, but why would I book another stay at this disgusting place? Please, please, please don't book here!

We booked five nights because our circumstances left price as the main consideration, and we couldn't afford to pay both to cancel and to stay elsewhere. We even bought cleaning supplies and bedding to make the room habitable. Cleanliness and friendliness are free, even at a cheap hotel, but we got neither. Don't book here if you can avoid it. Road construction kept us from using the main entrance. That wasn't the property's fault, but it was a major inconvenience. The smell was the first thing I noticed on arrival, stale, musty, and smoky everywhere. The carpets were old, dirty, and looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in months. Our first room was just as dirty as the hallway and smelled as bad. The phone didn't work and there was no running water. We complained and got another room, but it was more of the same, dirty, smelly, and in disrepair. We got only two normal towels for four people, and staff acted like we were asking for their firstborn when we requested more. Later, when we asked for clean towels, they counted them. Requests were met with rudeness. One employee yelled at my husband, and once we had to wake an employee sleeping in the lobby to ask for towels. The service was absolutely horrible. They clearly don't understand hospitality.

I was exhausted while driving from california to illinois, but the room I checked into was nasty. The bed and pillows were wet, and the bathroom towels were soaked and rolled up on the back of the toilet. There was blood all over the bathroom floor and cigarette burns on the blanket. When I turned on the AC, a horrible odor came out. Bugs were crawling in the bed. The front desk guy said the room was fine and wiped up the blood with a tissue. My Asma meant I couldn't breathe, so I had to leave. As I was going, he told me the $141.98 was nonrefundable. Reservations had clearly said they wouldn't charge my card until I saw the room. I'd already had another nasty experience trying to find a room. The motel looked okay, but it was in a very poor neighborhood. The window wouldn't open and the room smelled awful. It was July 30th, just nasty and disappointing. I wouldn't let my worst enemy sleep there. How can people be so nasty, with no pride or morals?

There were a few things that worked: the AC was fine, the shower temperature stayed even, and we had no bed bugs or roaches in our room, though I checked. Getting there was difficult with all the construction nearby. The lobby smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The room was dirty and badly in need of a rehab or demolition and rebuild. I thought there was blood in the sink, though I convinced myself it was nail polish. The tub had a patch on the bottom, the floor had stains and a sticky spot, and both mattresses sagged. Mine hurt my back more. We didn't get room service the first morning, and the second morning they left no towels. I wish I'd read more reviews before coming. There are other inexpensive hotels around, so save your money and stay elsewhere. I would've chosen another place even if it cost more. Some hotels offer a shuttle to Six Flags, which would've saved us money because we had to pay for Lyft.
