The layout gives guests room to move between dinner, dancing, entertainment, and photos without the reception feeling cramped or broken up. Dominion Gardens also has the indoor and outdoor spaces to make the day feel personal while keeping things moving from the ceremony to the last dance. The gardens and grand interiors bring a classic feel, and the venue suits DJ setups, uplighting, photo booths, and ceremony sound. We enjoy working at places like this because a well-planned space makes coordination and guest interaction easier. A lovely setting for weddings and other events around Oklahoma City.

We know Guthrie well because our parents lived there. Our mother worked as secretary to the president at Dominion House when it was a children’s home, back in her twenties. I’m glad this beautiful building has been restored and is now a hotel. The rooms were clean, the staff was good, and breakfast was served in the morning. Give it a chance if you want to see Oklahoma’s original capital. Guthrie was the first town during the 1889 land run and later became the state’s first capital.

When work takes me to OKC, I stay here almost every time. It’s affordable, but still one of the most luxurious hotels in the Edmond and OKC area. One of my favorite places to stay, especially if you want somewhere relaxing.

We had a wonderful baby shower here. The venue was pristine and elegant, and everyone in my family and friend group loved it. We walked around the hotel and grounds, which are beautiful and great for pictures. The staff paid close attention to us. I’d suggest it for a wedding or baby shower.

Really fun experience. The ballroom bar gave me a bit of a Shining vibe, minus the creepy ghosts. Seems like a great place to visit in fall or winter.
