Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Ardmore

The breakfast area was neat and clean, with waffles, bagels, cereal, yogurt, coffee, and juice. We were exhausted after hours on the road, heading out late at night to rescue my brother, and the welcoming, personable staff made check-in easy. The hotel and rooms were very clean, and the beds were clean and comfortable. I’d stay here again. It worked great for a quick night on the road.

We needed a place with truck and trailer parking, and this hotel had spots for both. The staff were kind, the hotel was clean, and the beds were comfortable. But the rooms don’t block much sound. I could hear someone walking above me, a baby crying in another room, and a dog barking down the hall. If you’ve had a long day and need uninterrupted sleep, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

It’s a small place in a convenient spot off I-35, with decent prices and free breakfast. The rooms were clean, the hot water was fine, and everything seemed good. The staff were very nice, too. Maybe this place used to be under construction when people were complaining, but that wasn’t what I found. I’m a real customer, not a paid reviewer. I gave up after 40 minutes and asked for a refund, but didn’t get one, so I paid for a room I couldn’t stand and went to the Quality Inn down the street for the same price and way more comfort. The room had no lamps or artwork, outlets sticking out of the wall, grime on the cable box, a TV that didn’t work, and exposed concrete on the floor. Before I even got there, the building looked like it had been thrown together in a weekend, the staff were curt and rude, and the lobby had a smell I couldn’t identify. I’ve never left a review before, but this was the worst hotel stay of my life. I wasn’t expecting much for the price, but this was awful.
