Hampton Inn & Suites Guymon

We slept for 10 hours because that bed was so comfortable. I hadn’t paid attention to the room type when I booked online, since my husband and I were wiped out and I just picked something with the highest stars on the map. It turned out to be a suite, a little pricier than I wanted for a few hours’ rest before the remaining hour and a half of driving, but it was surprisingly spacious and clean. I told my husband that, with a bit of rearranging, I could live in a tiny house that size. Breakfast was the best we’ve had anywhere, and the coffee wasn’t awful like it is at most places. The pool was closed, but I wasn’t planning a long stay, so it didn’t bother me. If you’re staying 3-4 days with kids who want to swim, you may want to keep looking. I’d definitely recommend staying here. I was too tired to take photos when we arrived.

The heater made a bit of noise, but the room itself was clean, comfy, and very nice. We left before continental breakfast started, but they had free breakfast bags at the counter to take with us. Loved that.

The food was about what you’d expect, and the staff were very friendly. Rooms were clean and nice. The Hampton Inn is right off the main highway, though watch for potholes as you drive in.

The pool being closed was the only thing keeping this from a five star stay. Staff were helpful and friendly, breakfast was great for something included, and the rooms were clean. I stayed twice in one week while traveling there and back, and I’d return.
