The breakfast was a real highlight, fresh and full of flavor, made with local ingredients. You can tell Ricardo and Don put a lot of care into making the stay feel special. The whole place was peaceful and romantic, just the reset we needed, and I’d happily come back. From the cheese board and chocolates to the snacks, bath bombs for the beautiful jacuzzi, and the spotless property, all the small touches felt considered. We felt looked after from the moment we arrived. I’m so grateful for the stay and would recommend the Everitt House to couples or anyone wanting a restful getaway. Thank you, Ricardo and Don!

We used to live in Hackettstown and came back for a weekend, and the cozy rooms and spot near Main Street made it easy to enjoy the visit. The owners were friendly and accommodating, and parking and the door instructions were straightforward. This was only our second B&B stay, but it beat expectations. Breakfast and afternoon tea were lovely, and the food was incredible, especially the afternoon charcuterie. It was also easy to drive to nearby attractions and nature walks, with High Point about an hour away. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting this part of Jersey.

Don and Ricardo were such thoughtful hosts, going out of their way to make us feel at home while still giving us space. The breakfasts were delicious, and the rooms were comfortable and cozy. The Everett House is beautifully furnished with antiques and period decor, and the house itself is gorgeous. I’m already eager to return and hope to plan another visit next year!

The house looked especially lovely with snow falling when we arrived for a small private event this month. It was decorated for the holidays, with a warm vintage feel, and the Victorian architecture and charm reminded me of Cape May. It’s a picturesque B&B in Hackettstown. Ricardo and Don were so welcoming and hospitable. Breakfast was a treat, with Don’s delicious mushroom and spinach quiche and Ricardo’s colorful, sweet fruit salad. I’ll always treasure the time we spent there. Thank you both, and Happy New Year!

We chose this charming historic B&B in central Hackettstown for our son's wedding weekend and hosted his bridal party there. When we met with Don and Ricardo more than a year ahead to arrange the stay, they promised to make everything beautiful for our guests, and they followed through. They were remarkable hosts and took care of every need. Our guests described their rooms as elegant, cozy, and comfortable. I highly recommend this lovely piece of history. You won't be sorry.
