Airport Inn

I'd stay again at the right price if I just needed a bed for the night and didn't expect frills. It's an old motel-style building, so you hear other people moving around. Check-in service was very good. Room 102 was clean and had shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and coffee. The bathroom was clean too, though dated, with imperfect drywall repairs covered by a fresh coat of paint. Bedding, towels, and blankets were clean and nicely arranged. The one problem came around 4 a.m., when I got up to use the bathroom and found the floor soaked. I put a towel down and went back to bed. In the morning, I mentioned to a young man that the refrigerator might have gone through a defrost cycle and leaked onto the floor. He walked off, and I didn't see him again. I waited a while, but nobody came, so I left.

In an area where prices are really high, this place is priced right. It's quiet, too, being out by an airport. Hard to believe what a good place to stay it is.

This was my third time at the Airport Inn. I like the dog-friendly policy, the easy access to Herriman Trail, and how well the remodel turned out. Most rooms look and feel great for the price. The walls can be thin, though. From our ground-floor room we heard everything happening above us. The guy upstairs seemed either unable to sleep or possibly on drugs, which isn't the inn's fault. I told the manager, and she spoke to him right away about disturbing us and other guests. Props to her for that. I'd recommend the place for its value and location near Hailey and Ketchum. I'd try for a second-floor room or one in the 300-400 block.

We stayed at three hotels on our weeklong trip, and this was the best. The recently renovated rooms look great and were exceptionally clean. No carpet, which feels much more sanitary, and the windows open. The bed was comfy, too. There's a grassy area with picnic tables, and Wood River trail runs right behind the property. Highly recommend this motel.
